2015 Pinot Noir Gold Medal winner 2019 Central Coast Wine Competition.
The 2015 Pinot Noir is a unique, “big” Pinot, as seen immediately after pouring with long, clear, viscous legs in the glass. The nose is more fruit-driven than the traditional terroir style of Pinot, with blackberry preserves and ripe black cherries. Followed by clove, allspice and cedar wood. This full-bodied wine is beautifully balanced and has a finish that lasts for minutes. Be sure to decant this wine for at least an hour before serving. It would drink well before dinner with a charcuterie board or sheep’s milk cheese. Or save it for savory main courses like roasted duck or venison.
