The Demeter 2016 Viognier has a classic nose of wet stones and toast, alongside ripe apples, stone fruits and honeydew melon. A hint of Earth rounds out the bouquet. This is a huge Viognier – muscular and chewy with a full-mouth feel and long, but crisp finish. It will pair wonderfully with spicy Asian dishes like Szechwan or Northern Indian – it’s sturdy enough to hold up to a lamb curry. Or try it with Thai dishes with coconut milk.
